Which of these saddo schlockymonsters have done more damage to human civilization?
I personally am leaning toward Diane Warren. Her theme for the new Star Dreck spin-off and the mere continuing existence of Michael Bolton and NSync more than make up any dubious plusses like Christina Aguilera and Joe Cocker.
This is not to say that Stock, Aitken and Waterman (ATTORNEYS AT LAW!) are completely blameless. The marginal bus-stop humming goodness of vintage Debbie Gibson and current Kylie Minogue cannot wash away the putrid stain that is the Wrestlemania album. Though Bananarama definitely is a plus sign in my book.

But whats YOUR opinion, ILM forum?

Diane Warran is far, far worse. Correct me if I am wrong, but Warren does ballads exclusively, and ballads are the bane of the earth and all who live on it. She probable had nothing to do w/ xtina's good moments.

The songs SAW did for Donna Summer in the 80s almost justify their existence. Big Fun and the Reynolds girls don't though. But at least their music was POP, wheras Dionne Warren is as far as I know MOR pap for people who don't really like music. Whoever was responsible for the success of Michael Bolton should be dragged outside and have the shite kicked out of them, but it wasn't just Dionne Warren, lest we forget
