I once heard a very amusing Muppet Show record, which, among other things, features Kermit singing a duet with an owl (I think). Hilarious. Anyone know what this record is called? I've been searching for it for ages with no result.

My best guess. Check out Side One track 6 (no Kermit here, but how many owl songs can there be?)

My elementary school put on the "Muppet Show" for our school play one year. I got to wear a skullcap and be one of the cranky old guys in the balcony.

Jay, I don't have the record, I found the tracklist just by googling for it. I don't remember anymore what site I found it at, but I'm afraid it was more like an informational site rather than a "click here to purchase" type of place.

It's the second Muppets album, and I grew up with the first (which is probably still at my parents). That's how I googled, I think: my search terms were MUPPET, KERMIT, LYDIA, and TATTOO, because I remembered that "my" album had Kermit singing "Lydia the Tattoo Lady" (of course I remembered, how could I ever forget!).

Good luck with your search!

I have both of these records on vinyl! The first one from when I was a kid, bought the second when I came across it in some used bin a couple months ago. Both are very well-constructed little "shows", shouldn't be too hard to find!

You know, they've started to release lots of classic episodes on DVD.
