I have not caught his show, yet. I would have to say, reading the "backlash" section of his site (www.extremeelvis.com) alone makes him an angry god among Elvis impersonators - a social phenomenon that must be killed and EE is man enough to do it!
The thing that really pisses off the jump suit/mutten chop crowd is not a 300lb man drinking urine and doing CC Rider naked, but the fact that his voice is better than 90% of those cape flapping, scarf handlers. I wouldn't pay five cents to see the real Elvis, I will probably pay $10 to see double E.

Elvis was a hero to most, but he never meant shit to me...
I never dug his music, not even as a child and when I got older and found out about his racism and xenophobia, forget it.
Carl Perkins handed him his head musically, he just couldn't drive.
And yes, I am opinionated but this isn't directed at you, the cat just died.
