Well I don't usually post hype, especially when my friends are involved, but in the case I would be remiss if I didn't.
new album officially came out today, but I've been listening to it for the last couple months and it's pretty fucking spectacular. It's on Ozone (Def Jux's sister label)...I don't know if anyone here has heard their last couple, but this is definitely their strongest album even though there are no fancy Kweli or Mike Ladd cameos. The writing, recording, and mc'ing really came together on this one. It's a unique and tight album both for a brass band album and a hip-hop album, I hope some people give it a chance.
