anyone who hates the ISB has no soul.

Without further ado,

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Tuesday, 29 April 2003 09:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I wanted to get "Three Is a Green Crown" onto mine, but couldn't fit it. "October Song"...that's another great one.

Joe (Joe), Tuesday, 29 April 2003 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Duane, Tuesday, 29 April 2003 10:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Sheer insanity is what it is.

Agree with most of the choices above but can I add some votes for White Bird, Darling Belle, Red Hair, 1968 etc etc

Dadaismus (Dada), Tuesday, 29 April 2003 12:04 (twenty-two years ago)

In other words, basically sides one and two of Relics (or the whole of the UK single album version).

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Friday, 27 August 2004 19:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Of course, there are some repeats:
All Writ Down
Job's Tears
The Tree (1st album version)
Mercy, I Cry, City
Chinese White
You Get Brighter
Lover Man
Koeeoaaddi There
Witches Hat
Empty Pocket Blues
I don't like C.O.B.'s Spirit of Love nearly as much as I thought I would after having read so much praise. Is the second one a lot different/better? ISB in America this fall, they are even playing in Columbia, Missouri! Without Robin, but with Clive. No way I'm gonna miss that, and I'm sure I'll love it, but I wonder what it's gonna be like.

Sean Witzman (trip maker), Friday, 27 August 2004 20:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Wow, you don't like "Spirit of Love," "Music of Ages," "Soft Touches of Love," "Wade in the Water," "Serpent's Kiss"...?

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Friday, 27 August 2004 20:11 (twenty-one years ago)

It's not that I don't like them, but I'd been led to think it was so much more "out there" and "eastern-influenced" what with the use of the "dulcitar" and everything...but it sounds a lot less eastern than 5,000 Spirits to me. I haven't written it off, it just didn't sound as exotic as I thought it would. It's growing on me considerably, and I think that "Wade in the Water" is my favorite.

Sean Witzman (trip maker), Friday, 27 August 2004 20:17 (twenty-one years ago)

"Soft Touches of Love" and "Serpent's Kiss" use very unique modes (scales), but yeah, it comes off as more "medieval" than "Eastern."
