There was definitely a lot of Everly Brothers in the music of The Beatles, but besides minor seventh, there are also a lot of key changes in The Beatles' music that weren't evident in the music of Everly Brothers.

I was being satirical.
And there wern't THAT many, anyway. Okay, the melodies are better, but the chords, and the harmonies they create, are not that far from the Everlys at all.
At it's simplist level, it is basically just chuck in a minor seventh where no-one else has thought of putting it. Takes a spot of genius to recognise where a good place is, but still, a simple trick.;
But, anyway, back to the point. . .
