I still play their Hands On album regularly. "no score after extra time", "comeuppance", "buttermouth". Marvellous songs.

I last saw Giles (guitarist) at a party in August 2000. He was so drunk that he actually fell off a chair and didn't get up again. He's now working as a civil servant. Oh well...

On what basis CW? I've only heard recordings, I never saw them live, for example. "Comeuppance" is wonderful. It's such joyful music too, but never bland.

sorry, i just recall them as pedestrian 6th form jangle rock, barren of any distinguishing style or charm. just uninteresting really . not quite as bad as the frank & walters tho'.

hi there. i must confess when i was a kid i was quite a fan. sold it all long ago but although naive they had a talented guitarist. i still think about "weatherwatching", a great sound.
