actually walked home across an entire borough, over the brooklyn bridge, after spending my last dime on a rare Twink record. Couldn't afford a cab, a bus, or even a phone call. It took about four hours and I sure was tired when I got home but falling asleep to that record made it all worth it.

Also went without food for an entire day to pay for the Swell Maps's Collision Time Revisited LP as a young fella. I still have the record - but what would twelve year old Pluck U chicken look like today? Exactly. I guess I made the right choice.
