I don't have one yet, post yours so I can steal 'em.

nb. if your medium is mp3, feel free to list them, but since I don't have an mp3 player, I'm obviously more interested in CD mixes.

It's usually a steady diet of mid-to-late era Sisters of Mercy (the right numbuh of BPM's to keep the pace goin')....or the Misfits.

I take Hank's advice and listen to Thin Lizzy, but only the sad songs.

Helltime Producto (Pavlik), Friday, 2 May 2003 21:57 (twenty-two years ago)

New Order - Low Life

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Friday, 2 May 2003 23:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Can't. I'd get run over or something if I listened to music while out on my bike. Besides, its the only time I get any peace, and that's half the point.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 3 May 2003 01:38 (twenty-two years ago)

That Crispin Glover thing is the most disturbing song ever, with the exception of Joe Pesci's version of "Got to Get You Into My Life".

For like three weeks I was working out to Kraftwerk, until I realized it really would only be funny if OTHER people could hear it, and headphones prevent this. So now I'm either back to the Misfits or some mix CDs Gareth sent me, this is the one that's on my desk:

1. Duran Duran, "Girls on Film"
2. Diana Ross, "Upside Down"
3. Shades of Rhythm, "Sound of Eden"
4. Althea & Donna, "Uptown Top Ranking"
5. Bizzare, Inc., "I'm Gonna Get You"
6. Westbam & Nena, "Oldschool"
7. Cygnus X, "Superstring"
8. Pino d'Angio, "Ma Quale Idea"
9. Dopplereffekt, "Pornoactress"
10. Basement Jaxx, "Just 1 Kiss"
11. Warren G, "Regulate"
12. Alan Braxe & Fred Falke, "Intro"
13. Red Planet, "Stardancer"
14. Nelly, "Ride Wit Me"
15. Awesome 3, "Don't Go"
16. Jonny L, "Hurt You So"

I have another one, but the tracklisting isn't in front of me, it's got Barry Adamson's "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Pelvis", Undertones "Teenage Kicks", Social D "Ring of Fire", "Hybrid Moments", some Mensen song, Electric Six, "Maman A Tort" by Mylene Farmer, Turbonegro, Miss Kittin, Kylie, Killing Joke, and possibly Tom Jones. I recommend all of those things too.

Haha Tad, why do you think The Man Machine was at the gym with me for those three weeks?

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 4 May 2003 05:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Sunday, 4 May 2003 23:42 (twenty-two years ago)

three months pass...
I just assembled the following mix on my mp3 player to go jogging with. The tempo slows down around the Stones song, so that's a good place to stop running and cool down.

1. David Bowie - Golden Years
2. David Bowie - Rebel Rebel
3. Killer Mike - A.D.I.D.A.S.
4. Scooter - Ramp (The Logical Song)
5. The Stranglers - Peaches
6. Jay-Z - Big Pimpin'

8. Queen - Killer Queen
9. Rolling Stones - Dead Flowers
10. Steely Dan - Hey Nineteen

o. nate (onate), Sunday, 24 August 2003 23:31 (twenty-one years ago)

(I originally had Kelis's "Milk Shake" in their as well, but I found myself skipping it, because it's a bit too slow for running to.)

o. nate (onate), Sunday, 24 August 2003 23:32 (twenty-one years ago)

I know it's very, very wrong of me, but one year I used Fool's Gold for any extended bits of jogging in place. I used to listen to Nitzer Ebb albums almost exclusively for my workouts.
