and I might be going to this tomorrow night:
john russell/paul smyth duo and hugh metcalfe (guitar/vocals/gasmask). I've heard the latter in his 'fuck off batman' disguise so it might be fun (there's also a trio playing first but I'm too tired to type).
its all happening at the red rose theatre- 129 seven sisters Rd (nearest tube : finsbury park) and it starts at 8:30 pm. £5.

They did three 'pieces'. The best one was the third, some really really lovely keybaord sounds which meashed in really well with the percussion and trumpet. The 'funny' moment came when the woman from the venue came out from the 'control room' at the back to tuck at the key board player's trousers, she yelled 'five' (mins) but he just didn't look or pay any attanetion to her. they had to turn on some other lighting after a few more mins of this and they stopped barely a min later.
