Anyone know what this Japanese (?) Indie tune is?

Don't know much about it other than I think its Japanese, from what I remember it was quite a fuzzy guitary kind of thing and if it wasn't a cover of Eno's "St Elmo's Fire", then the tune was an absolute dead ringer for it.

I know its not a lot to go on, but any ideas?

And I should point out that I heard it at a very wonderful club in Birmingham called Tokyo Lucky Hole, and anyone who lives near enough to Brum to check it out really ought to go along...
