while we're on the topic, what are some of yr favorite Jandek albums?
Mine by far is You Walk Alone, but also always loved Blue Corpse. I'm almost freakishly familiar with each album, and love them all for different reasons - wanted to get other perspectives. Tell which and why.

The Minneapolis Underground Film Festival will be screening the documentary about Jandek called I Know You Well at the St. Anthony Main Theaters on Saturday, Oct. 10th at 1:00 p.m.. This film was shot around Jandek's two Minnesota performances in 2012 and 2013.
The filmmakers were given some up-close, behind-the-scenes access to both the Mankato and Minneapolis Jandek shows. You'll get a glimpse into the process of how these shows were developed and rehearsed, and then see actual footage from the performances. There is also extensive interview footage with "The Rep" in his hometown of Houston that reveals his thoughts on music and performance.
