Tacking the "anti-Rave" bill onto the Amber Alert legislation is yet another example of the neo-conservatives who are running the gubment taking away civil liberties. This is a lot deeper than democrat vs republican, a whole lot of conservative repubs are scared of neo-con legislature too, they just missed the boat on this one.
The big problem with the rave bill is, if you set up any event from a rock concert to a teen dance party, then you, the promoter are responsible if drugs get into your event (even if you hire pro-security and search everyone.)
The Only way I can figure this bill will get overthrown is if local elected officials enact it against stadium and team owners of major league sports franchises, when people get caught smoking a joint at a baseball or football game.
How in Hell you will get a local official to step up and asure their political death is another story.
