Well, it is not that common.... but then there are some bands that write together in jam style (e.g., Joy Division/NewOrder), but I guess you may mean those that have songwriters write individually (for the most part)... well, once I think about it... perhaps there are lots! The following come to mind:

i recognized later i should have said equal "quality" because i knew go-betweens and husker du would be brought up but then they are equal in their crapness. also as much as i dislike husker du i don't think i have ever met a fan who thinks the same of both grant and bob.

although shayne carter was much more prolific andrew brough wrote most of my fave sj fits songs. the two guys in gorky's were pretty equal but i prefer euros as a singer.
