When you're drinking Wild Turkey, you should be listening to The Handsome Family.

I mention this because I'm drinking Wild Turkey, and listening to The Handsome Family, and I can't think of anything more perfect.

Lord Custos Epsilon (Lord Custos Epsilon), Monday, 12 May 2003 01:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Ah. Twenty-four hours later, and I am back on the Turkey. Call me an alcoholic if you want, but I will protest and point out that I am a redneck by birth, and certain members of my family have been known to ride a motorcycle or two, and get into the occasional bar fight, and even land their asses in jail from time to time, and I am only keepin' it real.

I found a shiny unopened C90 in the closet today while doing some spring cleaning, and am anxious to use it. I think a Turkey mix is in order. For my first track, I have to go with "Choices" by George Jones, firstly because it's a great song, and secondly because it was just mentioned on another thread, and thirdly because it encompasses my current relationship with the Turkey. The Turkey doen't control me; I choose to drink the Turkey. I could just as easily drink George Dickels or Jim Beam or even the massively overrated Jack Daniels, but thankfully, in life we have choices.

So what's the second song? And the third? Help me make my Turkey mix. Banjo is encouraged.
