He died yesterday, actually.

Either way he's still dead.

Wonderfully put!

I read: "died today of 57 unknown causes." Harsh.

"we'll thaw you out sir as soon as we discover a cure for 27 stab wounds in the back"

I bet Heinz had something to do with it.

Did he ever patch things up with Jimi prior to said flamboyant guitar-botherer's untimely shuffling from this mortal coil?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Tuesday, 13 May 2003 11:59 (twenty-two years ago)

A little joke:

Q: "They say that Peter Hammill was the 'Jimi Hendrix of vocals'. Who was the 'Noel Redding of vocals'?"

A: "Jimi Hendrix."

"we'll thaw you out sir as soon as we discover a cure for 27 stab wounds in the back"

Smithers: "Oh Mr. Burns. We'll thaw you out the second they find a cure for 17 stab wounds in the back... How we doing boys?"

Professor Frink: "Well, we're up to 15!"

Scientists: "Hoooraaaaaaayyy!"

Accuracy=funnier. (Or vaguely creepy, vaguely sad. - Mod.)

That's too bad aboot him dying. Does anybody know what he did after the Experience?

He was in Fat Mattress. I used to have his autobiography for some reason. Don't think I do anymore though.

As my friend said, "They don't build afros like that anymore, my man..."

thirteen years pass...

Have just previewed the first Fat Mattress album and am seriously interested. It sounds very lush and inspired, as far as the arrangements go. Will need to do some further research, it seems.
