I am so glad this thread was about Streetband. "Toast" is one of the greatest songs ever written, not least because of the "boo boo boo boo boo boo boo" vocal solo bit. Also, the "brown bread, white bread, all sorts of wholemeal bread..." rap is fo-shizzle.

I know it's another stretch, but there's a new DC band called French Toast with James Canty (Nation of Ulysses, Ted Leo) and Jerry Busher (Fugazi, All Scars). Their "Bugman" E.P. has some cool moments. Oh, and there's an At the Drive In song called "For Now We Toast."
