Why? Because I've just had a moment of clarity, and realised that Keane seem to have nicked their schtick almost wholesale from our Maxi.
It's interesting, in a pop culture where so much stock is put into looks, that a band like Keane whose singer - for all his vocal oomph - looks like a pudgy choirboy munching on a curly-wurly, can sell gajillions, while the musically similar Hecker - who's a male model and undeniably swoonsome, languishes in relative obscurity.
