We're currently gathering all the mp3 files we've had up on http://www.gabba.net/amp/ for the last year or so, to compile on a mp3 cd for sale via paypal, and maybe in some understanding record shops..

Anyway, i know its a very dodgy legal area, so we're gonna sell it pretty much at cost and probably mostly anonamously via the web, does anyone know of any other record labels that have released mp3 cds, I know tigerbeat did one of all lessers back catalogue and i think mute did one recently, as well as the boomselection 3cd set. Any advice on how likely it is we'll get shafted by a record label?

jk-- I think as long as you keep the copies limited and aren't doing it to make money, you should be okay. It's all a matter of IF someone decides it's worth raising a stink... that said, I want one too!

Yeah... that's obviously what I thought. Blueski confused me -- probably reading the post first thing in the morning had something to do with it. So, yeah, not setting out to make money is gonna limit the chances of raising any red flags.

This sounds very cool. I only discovered AMP a couple of months ago and I have got some great stuff off there (goddamn that Punjabi Hit Squad track is great), so I reckon a collection of the last year would be right up my alley.
