What was the last track you downloaded off your Napsterclone that made you frantically play the song over and over again?

...and you said to yourself, as you grinned like an idiot: "It was worth the 20 minutes it took to download."

The Bar-Kays, "Midnight Cowboy". Uptempo funky stuff, like if Jon Voight wasn't just walking but strutting down that crowded NYC street, that transistor radio bobbing in time with his head.

Oh...here's two more variations on this idea...
1) What was the last track you downloaded off your Napsterclone that you liked so much that you IMMEDIATELY went on a quest for a version of the same song with a higher bitrate.
2) What was the last track you downloaded off your Napsterclone (on a whim) by an artist you never heard, and became so impressed that you immediately started looking for more tracks by that artist.

Talking Heads, "Born Under Punches" live in Tokyo, 1981 - It's the best song ever you know. This version is unbelievable.

ccr, keep on chooglin. had had my eye on this for years mainly cos of the pavement ref to it on one of their sleeves, partly cos of the title, knew it would be a distillation of what makes ccr great and it certainly is. my younger brother thought i was crazy but after the fourth or fifth listen in a row he saw the light. two weeks later he went to costa rica for his semester abroad and it was the first song he heard at the airport there.

I concur that Limewire is utter shit. I've been using Drumbeat, which is much better. (Though I can't seem to find the Rapture record yet.)

Two best things I've d/l'd recently would be Prince doing a version of "Just My Imagination" with full Maggot Brain intensity (there's so much guitar it pretty much forgives the gauzy synth-tone that opens the song) and Labi Siffre's "I Got The."
