remember the fuss about the solar eclipse in the UK back in late '99? but it was too fucking cloudy...still i stood in my back garden at 1pm with a sheet of paper with a tiny hole cut in the middle and it did darken enough to make it seem like it was really 5am midsummer

I tuned my guitar to an open-A tuning and improv serenaded the eclipse (which I saw in amazing detail, thanks to my porch's proxy to the lunar movement across the sky & an amazing lack-of-clouds).
