is anyone interested in sitting in the backyard with a walkman like vehicle helping you soak up its natural glory or listen, instead, to the grass grow so to speak..?

remember the fuss about the solar eclipse in the UK back in late '99? but it was too fucking cloudy...still i stood in my back garden at 1pm with a sheet of paper with a tiny hole cut in the middle and it did darken enough to make it seem like it was really 5am midsummer

I tuned my guitar to an open-A tuning and improv serenaded the eclipse (which I saw in amazing detail, thanks to my porch's proxy to the lunar movement across the sky & an amazing lack-of-clouds).
