I seem to have missed out on Kid Loco. He was just one of those names. A friend was recently eulogising 'A Grand Love Story' and I'm thinking of buying it. Should I? Where's the good stuff?

'Love Me Sweet' is very good, if you can find the single, though it's on the album anyway. Very laid back, relaxing and chilled.

A Grand Love Story is a great album... but not the domestic release which is just the compilation of three CD singles (or two?)... so you have to get the import version, which is the proper album... also, it was released as a double CD in France a few years back which is the one to really track down... I still see it at some local shops (SF Bay Area)

He released another 3 track EP a week or two ago. 'The Love and Dope and Etc Dream Suite' on Royal Belleville and Yellow, with Tim Keegan on the vocals.

search = his remix of the pastels "the viaduct", mogwai "tracy", jim o'rourke's remix of "love me sweet"...

destroy = anything he's done since 2000 except for one song called "in circles" (? i think)...

Yeh, "A Grand Love Story" (Import) is pretty much the document. minus that one dump porno track. But the rest is simply lovely. Listen to it with someone whom you are fond of. & get in that mood. Unghh... (skuze me).

But the rest of his releases are just cripe, even the dj kicks.
