"Pump This Universe", "Rushin'" and "Everybody's Pumpin'" = classics (actually, you could say that about most of his pre-1995 material). His MTV tracks = shite.

The early stuff is great (Visions Of Shiva, his remix for Humate
Love Stimulation), it's a bit patchy later on. Some great remixes (Binary Finary!) and singles (
Avenue) but a lot of fairly boring stuff too, and
We Are Alive is probably best forgotten. He hasn't released much in the last three years, and the new single
Nothing But You is remarkably shite - it's a bit odd to accuse him of using "shit vocals", when most of his tracks are instrumentals though. The best thing about his productions is that most of them still have the old Eye-Q vibe shining through in one way or another, the worst thing is that they're all a bit clinical.
As a DJ he still delivers the goods though, I've seen him many times over the last ten years and he never disappoints. So Paul van Dyk the DJ: classic, Paul van Dyk the producer: occasionally classic.
