(Or the crazy acoustics you get in narrow hallways where the reverb corresponds to musical notes, so your footsteps have this bizarre tonal echo... I spent a weekend with Joe shouting and clapping in every alley in Clerkenwell last month!)

I had a reverb unit that had plates in it, and one of the plates had a big crack down the middle, and it was one of the most amazingly dissonant harsh things of all time. I did a recording where I didn't even run anything into it, I just turned it up full-blast and DROPPED IT. Man, that was a good noise.
