edwin prevost, keith rowe and a guiatr player from japan (whose name i can't remmeber) are playing on the 15th at the 291 gallery (but i don't know whether i'll go to that venue again, its really far away and they fuck the timings, bands that you want to see start after 11pm and that is no good to me as night buses are a no no for me) but i'll confirm this stuff.

Was thinking of seeing the Seeds too, to see whether Sky turns up with his army of dogs.

June 8th, with Charles Hayward, Limn, and (hopefully) the lovely and Norwegian Salvatore not to mention the increasingly brilliant kraut-hop Now. At the Buffalo Bars in Islington.

Lee "Scratch" Perry's curating Meltdown this year and that's looking pretty good http://www.rfh.org.uk/meltdown/meltdown_03.html I'd love to see most of it but I'll definitely be there for Linton Kwesi Johnson and the Dennis Bovell Dub Band on 21st June

Cat Power plays the Union Chapel on friday 20 of June if you want to get depressed. I think that's about it for now. Sorry to be so London biased, i'm sure the Soul Collective tour and maybe Cat Power drop into other UK cities.

Correction - I WOULD have been there were it not for the fact that Noddy, my inconsiderate bastard of a mate (who I can only assume has been secretly monitoring this board in order to plan how best to fuck up my plans, the selfish little git) has just announced that he's getting married in Nottingham that day.

met up w/ 3 ILXORS and that was the best thing abt it i suppose. the support bands were terrible, and, as you saw, NNCK were supposed to be on at 10pm. 11pm was a bit too late as there are no night bus services where i live so i had to leave.
but hey you met 'this really cool girl' so that's great.

you did! it goes from 8-1am so I prob won't be able to catch it all but it sounds pretty good.
