Monsta Island Czars - classic or dud?

i bought this thinking it was going to be just like MF Doom's last album, not realizing that most of the tracks were produced by a different producer (X-ray) and featured a bunch of other rappers. instead of cheesy (in the best possible way) 80s samples, you get dark sub-par Mobb Deep-ish beats and a bunch of dudes that sound like they just got off the undie express. weak flow and too many words in their mouths. the only songs i really like are produced by the same guy that made the Operation: Doomsday's beats (King Ghidora?) and have Doom rapping on them.

i say mostly dud.

yeah, i thought he did the beats, but it says producer: ghidora and mc: megalon on a few of the tracks. i was pretty sure he was megalon, didn't realize he was two different characters.
