RJD2 one is 'True Confessions' not 'Horror' if i'm not mistaken - and yeh its rather good (if you like DJ Shadowy stuff)

Zongamin i also like, although ironically i found myself wanting more lyrics in there - i keep whistling 'J Shivers Theme' a lot tho

"The Horror" by RJD2 is for-fans-only remixes of some trax on this album, plus negligible b-sides. buy the album (Deadringer)

"Dust" by Muggs is boring-ass acid-rock/trip-hop

the rest i don't know

M Matos (M Matos), Friday, 23 May 2003 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

oh fark, i made a schoolboy error

Everybody should get the Zongamin album.

Curt (cgould), Friday, 23 May 2003 19:14 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah go for the RJD2 album. You'll be happy, just for the song "HOrror", but there's more good stuff on it too.
Dust is pretty dull. If you can get it for free, you'll probably like it. If you pay money that you spent X amount of hours at a shitty job to earn, you'll despise it like something very dirty that I'm not going to say on this otherwise dignified thread.

The Zongamin album definitely tops this list. The musical variety between tracks is so much fun, my favorites are #6 (which plays like a breakdance anthem to my ears) and #8 (love the whistling sample!). Very fun!

Another RJD2 recommendation. An instrumental of "F.H.H." is included and without Jakki whinging over the top it sounds divine as fuck.

Channel 2 is a must have, if only for the inclusion (first time on CD) of Losing My Edge and Olio. Also rediscover the joy of New Edition pop as channeled 2003 style through Australian producer Rekindle. Agree with Matos on Rjd2 and Muggs.

Not only have I never heard any of them, I've never heard of any of them. What kind of music is this, anyway?

Sean (Sean), Saturday, 24 May 2003 14:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Channel 2 is a must for DK7's the difference aswell.

Zongamin I'd like to hear myself.

The Canyon LP is pretty nice. Won't earn you any kudos here though. Kinda Beachwood Sparks with a Pink Floyd element. Let the abuse begin. Listened to the Zongamin LP due to a friend of a friend being involved, 2/3s of it sounded OK, the rest left me cold. Some of it was just too cheesey.
