The whole time I was watching that I was thinking "Wow that guy reminds me a lot of Mike Skinner from The Streets"

stevem (blueski), Friday, 23 May 2003 23:48 (twenty-two years ago)

i didnt look at it but you are mistaken because the best video ever is 'hello, is it me you're looking for' by lionel richie.

ew no, with that stupid sculpted head? it has ironic humour value...the best videos ever are by Gondry and Shynola for me

I can't see this because my fucking hopeless computer has decided it doesn't feel like running Quicktime Player any more. I hate PCs so much.

Who cares about the sculpted head? Those marionettes are BOOGIEING THEIR WOODEN ASSES OFF.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Saturday, 24 May 2003 16:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I just watched this without sound at work and indeed it is one of the best videos ever (though the classicist in me has to vote for ZZ Top's "Legs" as the pinnacle). Except for that shot of the marionette's unusually large butt at the end. Too crass. But the rest is magnificent.

journey's "separate ways" for two reasons:

air keyboard
it was filmed across the street from my office

you work next to a home depot? I actually just watched "Separate Ways" last night too (I've got 24 hours of VH1 Classic on tape). Another classic.
