Obviously, the first album is killer. But what about the rest of their stuff? As heavy? As cool?

bought the s/t last saturday and it is RAD. i'd heard "nasty sex" and "ciudad perdida" before but i'm really pleasantly suprised at there being zero non-good songs ("if you wanna know" being particularly great - fuzz bass breakdown!)

about a year ago I made a huge FE order, and they didn't include ... *something* I ordered and they charged me for, can't remember what, and mistakenly sent this in its place. It looked pretty cool and I was too lazy to deal with returning. still haven't listened to it though!

In the mid to late seventies they turned into a much more mainstream ballads band. I think they are still around, but they don't play the old rock songs no more.

The 1972 film "La Verdadera vocación de Magdalena" features them exensively at their hippiest.

"Viva Zapata" is on Talking Pictures right now. What's with Brando's moustache? Couldn't he grow a proper one? Fred Flintstone as Pancho Villa!

Frankly since it's a Roger Adultery thread it being on ILM was a relief.

Brando's good in this, despite looking like Charles Bronson playing Edgar Allan Poe.
