So I am thinking about going to PITT for grad school in about a year and i know nothing about the area. Is there a decent music scene around town? The criteria for a decent music scene being a shit load of venues/good record shops. This is also stemming from the thread that linked the Wrecked label that has been putting out shit for awhile now. let me know.

Yeah, there's enough to keep you happy while you toil in grad school and possibly beyond. Jerry's Records alone could keep you busy for a long time.
