i dunno. being a designer and not a metallica listener i find shepard fairey a much bigger wanker. i mean anyone who likes to namedrop noam chomsky while bragging about working for nike, coke, clear channel, etc. is an instant write-off.

two years pass...

that image was actualy desoigned by an artist named "pushead" he has done most of metallicas art work since day 1. i am not a fan of metallica since "and justice for all" so im not defending them and i am a big fan of shepard's works, but just because somebody uses red and orange on a black outline silk screen doesnt mean shepard should be able to sue them.
