well, I'm sure you thought of it independently. that counts pretty much the same as if you coined. only you didn't.
i heard from a promoter/manager talking about one of his bands.

I did it here, but I didn't do the "nü" thing, just settled for "new". I'm still not sure if I like it, or whether it's annoying, though.
