Nope. Uh uh. Nosiree Bob.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 30 May 2003 16:38 (twenty-two years ago)

You should add a '(Not Safe For Dan's Work)' to the title.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 30 May 2003 16:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you know how hard it is to type on a keyboard covered with jism?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 30 May 2003 18:02 (twenty-two years ago)

That track on disc two called "39" isn't a Queen cover, is it?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 30 May 2003 18:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I know this thread was originally just meant for Monsieur Perry, but...

OMG, Ned!!! I kiss you many times!! I swoon!!!

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen before in my life. I am almost literally crying here. My absolute favorite post-1989 Cure album is Bloodflowers, and when I found out the band were going to do a whole concert in Europe filled with every song from that album I was cursing myself for not being able (financially AND time-wise) to go there and witness this amazing thing. Now, I'm shaking here. (OMG, this is totally affordable too!) This is the second bit of good news I've received in as many days.

*shakes with happiness*

btw -- Dan, your post made me laugh so hard I think I alarmed everyone within a two-mile radius.

OMG... first, there was last night's game... now, there's this...

*jumps up and down*

Dee the Lurker (Dee the Lurker), Friday, 30 May 2003 18:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you know how hard it is to type on a keyboard covered with jism?

That's why you wear gloves, duh.

Dee, you seem very happy for some reason. ;-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 30 May 2003 18:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Hafta say....the package looks decidedly bootleggish. Wonder how the sound quality is.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Friday, 30 May 2003 19:33 (twenty-two years ago)

I have faith in that. (ha ha do you see I'll go quietly officer)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 30 May 2003 19:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I *wish* you hadn't said that, Ned. My head just disintegrated.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 30 May 2003 20:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Was it sitting on the door?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, but only for about 17 seconds.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Right at the top, yes?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Placed there by three imaginary boys.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:04 (twenty-two years ago)

They were suffering from wild mood swings, I'm sure.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:05 (twenty-two years ago)

But they didn't cry.

Aaron A., Friday, 30 May 2003 21:09 (twenty-two years ago)

But they whispered "Kiss me kiss me kiss me" to each other. In Japanese.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:10 (twenty-two years ago)

My god, this is like Cure geek pornography.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:12 (twenty-two years ago)

you said pornography

slutsky (slutsky), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:28 (twenty-two years ago)

(therefore you are implicated)

slutsky (slutsky), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:29 (twenty-two years ago)

This title thing is really stupid. We should be doing Cure vs. Outhere bros shit.

"Ass Like Heaven"
"Friday I'm In Ass"
"Mint Ass"
"Loveass"
"Pictures Of Ass"
"An Ass Like This"
"Close To Ass"
"Charlotte, Some Asses"
"Killing An Arab's Ass"
"A Letter To Elise's Ass"
"The Hanging Ass"
"Trapped In An Ass, All Alone"

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I only said 'pornography' in concert with other words; it was more a cureiosity than anything.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:33 (twenty-two years ago)

If I didn't have to leave, I'd totally post the lyrics to "Pictures Of Ass," but I gotta run. Seriously, replace the word "you" with "ass" in that song (or in ANY Cure song) and it's an ever more beautiful thing.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Friday, 30 May 2003 21:36 (twenty-two years ago)

(And Ned and Sean lived happily ever after...)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 30 May 2003 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

The quality should be good, this is an official release. BUt yeah the cover is fucking fleamarket bootleg quality, but this looks like the French version and I've noticed european dvd covers to be generally crappy looking.

anthony kyle monday (akmonday), Friday, 30 May 2003 22:55 (twenty-two years ago)

In honor of Anthony:

I've been looking so long at these pictures of ass
That I almost believe that they're real
I've been living so long with my pictures of ass
That I almost believe that the pictures are
All I can feel

Remembering
ass standing quiet in the rain
As I ran to your fart to be near
And we kissed as the sky fell in
Holding ass close
How I always held close in your rear
Remembering
ass running soft through the night
asses bigger and brighter and wider than snow
And screamed at the make-believe
Screamed at the sky
And you finally found all your courage
To let your ass go

Remembering
ass fallen into my arms
Crying for the death of your fart
ass so stone white
So delicate
Lost in the cold
ass was always so lost in the dark
Remembering
ass how ass used to be
Slow drowned
assy angels
So much more than everything
Hold for the last time then slip away quietly
Open my eyes
But I never see anything

If only I'd thought of the right words
I could have held on to your fart
If only I'd thought of the right words
I wouldn't be breaking apart
All my pictures of ass

Looking so long at these pictures of ass
But I never hold on to your fart
Looking so long for the words to be true
But always just breaking apart
My pictures of ass

There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to feel ass deep in my fart
There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to never feel the breaking apart
All my pictures of ass

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 30 May 2003 23:03 (twenty-two years ago)

(Anthony Miccio, that is yikes)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 30 May 2003 23:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Stop all this babbling. Especially on a night like this. You're behaving like cockatoos.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 31 May 2003 01:23 (twenty-two years ago)

sniffle...god bless you, Dan Perry.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Saturday, 31 May 2003 17:30 (twenty-two years ago)

*holds up lit candle*

This thread is classic. Abso-freaking-lutely classic. (Yes, "freaking". I'm not pissed off. Ergo, I don't use the alternative.) So classic, it just landed in the history books. *applauds*

Ned, yes, I was a tiny bit happy when I posted that. Did it show? ;)

Dee the Lurker (Dee the Lurker), Sunday, 1 June 2003 01:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Ever so slightly, m'dear. ;-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 2 June 2003 03:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I've got mine in my hot little hands right now.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 18:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, but what about the DVD?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 18:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I R jealous. I am hoping to grab a copy from Best Buy today.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Bah! They said that the release was delayed and that they wouldn't get it in until June 24th. Off to online ordering, but did anyone else find a similar problem?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 21:27 (twenty-two years ago)

They had it at the lame Wherehouse on Wilshire near Centinela last night, which is generally the last place to get anything.

I would love to hear from someone who's seen this.

dan (dan), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 21:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Frightening thought, Dan. I suppose I could have checked at the Sam Goody around here, but you know, no. Anyway, order placed, I will await patiently -- should be here by Saturday.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 21:44 (twenty-two years ago)

CD Universe has a ridiculous price on this, like $17.50 or something.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 21:48 (twenty-two years ago)

MY GOD I FORGOT HOW MUCH THEY'RE MY FAVORITE BAND EVER.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 4 June 2003 23:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Sure, sure, make me even more jealous. ;-)
