Well, Dave is actually engaged to some blond girl. Mama BurmaKitty says it'll last two months. She thinks Dave should marry Jaz instead. She thinks it'll last longer. This is going to be his second marriage. I wonder how long Dave's first marriage was?

Jaz Coleman's rockin' that exotic look. I like exotic, except the shallow "mall teen" inside me says his nose and his chin look too weird to make him "like, mega hot". Hey, Mall Teen likes pastel eyeshadow and frosted hair. Then again, Mall Teen has agreed with the rest of Inner Deanna that Anthony Bourdain is a "total fox", so maybe she's not as shallow as she seems.

Those pictures remind me of pictures I took of some friends of mine who refused to take the mirror off the table before I took the picture. "It'll be fine! It'll be fine!" If by fine you mean "cause to have me arrested if the photo guy wanted to be a dick." Is it really THAT HARD to move the drug paraphenalia?

Maybe I should just assume that's a really ridiculous candle holder, though.

Early reports that the video for the forthcoming single, "Loose Cannon" (roundly derided by we the faithful as the worst possible choice of single) comes with an equally appalling video. Though, to be fair, Killing Joke have never made very many great vids. They're usually pretty damn poor. For every brilliant clip of theirs (say, "Eighties" for example), there's about three embarassing ones ("Democracy," "Pandemonium" and "America" are all virtually
unwatchable). The vid for "Money is Not Our God" is alright, and "Millenium" has some eye-catching moments, but they're not
classics. For me, "Eighties" and "A New Day" are their finest video moments.

so i was walking down the streets of downtown San Francisco this wonderfully bleak and foggy afternoon and i looked oh, about 100ft ahead me and i told my friend, "hey, look it's dave grohl". now i usually like to play this game when i see people that resemble celebrities, and this time, i only saw maybe a third of the side of his face because he was walking the same way as me but way down the street. but then, i looked again, and it really was him. he had on fancy blue jeans, a white 70s type ringer t-shirt, a trucker hat and i think sunglasses (typical celebrity trying not to get noticed apparel). he was with a curly haired blonde woman (i'm assuming this is the fiance those above are refering to?), and they were walking a minature pincher/ chihuahua. right as we walked past them, shaking in our boots from star struckedness, the dog pees on the sidewalk and i have to jump over it (lotsa pee for such a small dog). my friend says, "you know, he went to the same highschool as me in virginia? maybe i should pretend i don't know he's a celebrity but say i recognize him from school?". this is very funny seeing that she's a few years younger than me (she's 23) and so probably 10 years younger than him. she also said that she would easily perform illicit acts with him, but that's beyond the point.
