To digress slightly, has anyone noticed how Morrissey's lyrics are crammed with modes of transport. Bicycles, lots of cars, trucks, buses, trains, jets, wheelchair, horse... Must be a single about roller-skating due any day now.

There's a group out of Southern California called Bikeride that have some great pop songs... I think they put their stuff out on Parasol or Hidden Agenda.

The Decemberists' "Apology Song" is about a bicycle.

There's a lyric in the Tori Amos song "Bells for Her" that goes, "there goes her friend on her Nishiki."

Wow. Tori and the Decemberists. If I could only come up with a Dave Matthews song about biking, that would hit some kind of ILM-hate perfect storm.
