Looking for advice and opinions on Gary Lucas solo albums, but I'm interested in music he's made with various bands to some degree, too. Shoot.

Of his solo albums I've only got Improve The Shining Hour, which is good but not great.

As regards music he's made with other people, search: Doc At The Radar Station (Captain Beefheart), Ice Cream For Crow (Captain Beefheart) and Grace (Jeff Buckley) obviously. and (if the live performance is anything to go by) the forthcoming Magic Band album

I didn't like Evangeline. I can't remember why exactly, but some of it was funny in a cutesy way, as I recall. I'm very very interested in hearing his album covering old Chinese pop songs.
