Wednesday 11th June at midnight sees the pilot broadcast of Organ TV
Made by The Organ 'zine, it's a half-hour of underground music, animation and NO dumb presenters
The first show features promos from Amon Tobin,Cardiacs, King Prawn Dureforsog, Red Lights Flash, Wendykurk, Tixe and more
Organ TV is free to view on Open Access Channel 687 (UK Sky cable and satellite).

So I take it that this isn't a new channel (like p-rock), but a new TV programme-style broadcast on a separate channel?

Yep, that's right - one step at a time... heh, I'd rather not take on the responsibility of 24 hours of programming just yet...

This first show is kind of a simple format, just a half-hour show for the pilot. We want the music to speak for itself; we also want imaginative promos and music that doesnt get played on other channels too often. I don't think all the vids on this one come up to those standards yet, but some do... already got some good ones in for the next show... and talking nicely to animators...
We have ambitions for the bits between the bands that are only just hinted at with this one. It's really about bloody-minded love of music and making use of some of the skilled creatives I'm contact with.
Feedback is much appreciated... yikes, only an hour to go...
