honesty at Virgin Megabores always stumps the sales assistants. 'can i swap this please .. its crap'
performed said task last week after succumbing to glorious packaging of Peanut Butter Wolf mix cd (whom i normally rate a Lot), the mix cd is dire imho. too much emphasis on sad pap and doesn't groove my joints. so returned it.
so what have you returned lately .. and have you met resistance if you dont try the old 'extra birthday gift' routine ..

The Cave-In album for Richard Hawley. Luckily I know/Emma knows most of the (now ex-)staff so they're used to me walking up to them and saying "this is awful; it was meant to be like >>þ*@#¬¯œé<< and blatently isn't. I'm going to swap it."

Okay, I'm new here, so don't crucify me.

I recently got the Yeah Yeah Yeah's cd. And I'll admit, im a sucker for media hype (ie Strokes). But the YYY's cd is realy boring. I'm guessing that it's something that demands to be seen to make it exciting. Or maybe im just a dumbass. Maybe I'll give it another listen before condemning it to the bargain bins.
