almost 2 years behind schedule and on a different label, but it's finally in stores, and at a low "discovery price". nice package, too. really a shame what happened, all the label delays and problems must've sucked away a lot of the momentum and excitement around this record, but it's still hot to my ears.

I've heard maybe half of it: a lot of it is great, and in a way that surprises me, but I have to admit that I wish I liked it a little better.

it doesn't quite measure up to the high hopes i'd built up from listening to the 3-song promo for the past year and change, but it definitely has growing potential. "Siren" is pretty great.

Why why why why didn't they release a DVD of the videos with it? I'd love to hear "Hell Bent" in surround sound and see that video again...and it's really too bad that they didn't put out the cd when that video was receiving airplay. With all the file-sharing and eBay promo action, lots of people made money off Kenna except for Kenna, and that really sucks.

I was looking at this record yesterday. Can you tell me more about it, Al?

I really like it and will be reviewing it well, but if it had come out two years ago it woulda been epic

it's like genre salad, and I like that

Finally got it myself and it's a breath of fresh air for me, at least. I had heard a couple of the songs beforehand but only just got around to "Hell Bent" the other day and that merrily knocked my socks off. Agreed, though, that the period for its hype alas seems so long past now...

This album frickin' rocks. It's kind of a shame that the same synth patch was used on so many songs, though, making them appear less distinctive.

"Vexed And Glorious" is still one of the greatest songs ever but "Redman" is giving it a run for its money.

yeah, the production gets a bit samey over the course of the album. there are enough highlights that I think it holds up, though. and the drum programming is really fantastic, definitely breaks the Neptunes' 'less is more' mold. a lot of times the beat switchup in the bridge really makes the song.
