A little bit of a weirdo (not really there is myxamatosis) on the album. Electronic experiments. Must have been done before. I have listened to it many times and love it now. In places it sounds like a pinball machine.

strip out the vocals and put some rapping on it instead -- watch the ubercritics defecate in their pants.

Don't like it at all. It sounds really clumsy. Like a really lame glitch experiment thay were playing about with and then Thom decided to sing some uninspired lyric all over it. What the fuck is a "gloaming" anyway? In my dictionary it's a Scots poetic description of "twilight" which means fuck all really.

Roaming in the gloaming with a lassie by my side.

yeh exactly. Thom said the reason they didn't call the album "The Gloaming" was because it sounded too gloomy. I'd say it's cause the title is shit and the song is shit. That "Bonnie Banks of Clyde" song isn't gloomy at all though!

The sloshing noise! The sloshing noise!

Is it me or is this considerably shorter than the original/unmixed one?

The Dirt Detective did an episode where he dug up Hadrian's Wall and it was called "Romans In The Gloaming". Brilliant!

Oh, the song is dead good, too. Though it needs more non-singing though.
