The promos were out earlier, but "D-Clash" was definitely released this year (around february/march, considering its place in the Intec release list) - maybe a little overplayed by now, but still a good party tune. "Returning Back To Sirius" reminds me a lot of Ural 13 Diktators "Total Destruction (Johannes Heil Remix)", it's a fairly atmospheric track with spacy strings, 303, syncopated hihats & snares and a NASA countdown sample. Definitely not a full-on club banger.

I'm sad that Scott and Ned distrust people who enjoy a lot of records (if indeed distrusting is what they're doing, which it seems to be). All I can say is the same thing I've been saying for the past FEW years -- every year, more music comes out, period. Which means there will almost inevitably be more good stuff and more bad stuff than ever before. I don't see why this year should be an exception. I'm very fortunate to get tons of it in the mail, every single day. I've heard far more records I disliked this year than ones I liked, but it wouldn't be much fun to list all the ones I don't like. So I don't.

Anyway, here's my (very tentative) singles list so far, plus extras:

Yep. It's on Warners Germany, in which nation I think it might have gone number one or something. Though actually, its true title is "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime." I think I left out an "l" up above.
The German version is called "Irgendwie, Irgendwo, Irgendwann;" the B side is "Nur Getraumt," with an umlaut over the "a," of course.
