So anyone seen her live? Does she seriously have orgasms while playing the piano? Does she do a lot of covers (and I'm hoping she doesn't, 'cause every cover I've heard her do has been complete ass)?

It's probably a much better kind of audience to be in than a Bright Eyes crowd, too. It might be better than a goth crowd too.

(Personally, I've seen Tori once and Ben Folds thrice, and both of them were amazing performers...when I saw Tori, was surprised me most was that she actually had a sense of humor!!!)

"when I saw Tori, WHAT surprised me..."
Don't let me dissuede you though, she is good and I'm not a huge fan.

Lots of gushing, over enthusiastic applause (you know what I mean), a general aire of unconditional devotion and obsession.
In my experience, this is the best kind of audience to be in. I like it when everyone is into it, and enthusiastic. It certainly beats seeing an artist you really like with a bunch of people who seem totally indifferent.
I've never seen Tori Amos live, and don't really feel the need to do so, so I'm not necessarily defending anyone besides people who go to a show to, y'know, really enjoy it.
