A friend of mine picked me up an album (20 ans de vieille musique nouvelle, which I believe may be a comp of sorts) from these weird avant-gardists when he went to france. So who the hell are these guys?

Oh, Oh, Oh, they're great!!! They sound like a tiny little army of bizarre and vaguely malevolent soldiers from the French Revolution. They're French, you know. Haven't heard from them since about 1982, but they were part of that whole scene with Nurse With Wound, P16.D4 etc etc - on a million compilations of new underground/industrial music back in the say. I had no idea there was an album.

Back in the day, I mean.

Deficit Des Annees Anterieurs...I hope I spelled that correctly. I own a copy of "Bruit Son, Petit Son", a 3" cd bolted to two pieces of screenprinted plywood. You may also like Lt Caramel and the audio output by members of Le Dernier Cri(hand printed books with hysterical visuals).

A friend of mine has that 3" cd! I remember liking it, but can't remember too much about it other than it was pretty nice tape/cut-up spew. oh yeah, and at one point it incorporates a snip from Zep's "Communication Breakdown".

one month passes...
I just got a CDR of DDAA in the mail, which is one 74-minute track. No listing other than the band name on the label, anyone know what this is?
