This saturday in Philadelphia, meet Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead and then give blood!
Is this really the best idea? Does anyone know the effects of bad homemade mescaline on people with severe head trauma? Was Al Jourgenson busy? Just kidding. Kinda. I'm sure the Red Cross knows what it's doing. Can you think of any other incongruous rock star/public health combo. ( and yes i know that phil lesh had some sort of near-fatal kidney thing in the past, but still, will they be handing out nitrous balloons too!! )
