Shakedown - At Night : sample or not?

We have a discussion here about the song "At Night" from Shakedown, you know, the synth bit in the middle, very 80s sound, is it actually a sample of an existing 80s song or rather a good interpretation of 80s disco?

AFAIK it's original. The guitar bit is sampled though, but I haven't figured out where from.

BTW everybody who liked "At Night", will LOVE Benjamin Bates "Thin Times" (sampling "J'Aime La Vie"), it has the exact same 80s vibe.

Strange, a lof people and especially myself *recognised* the synth part in the chorus.
It reminded me of the "Vamos a l playa" era, and i was/am still sure it's a sampled piece from that time somewhere...

Can anyone point me to a final answer and relief my brains ? :O
