Are there any one man (or woman) bands worth seeing? Are they just a novelty act that's not worth bothering on record?

And who is better, Bob or Lonesome?

"Let me introduce the band to ya. On cymbal, left foot! On bass drum, right foot! Don't talk to my finger, my finger's an asshole!" etc. Bob Log is so ace.

Bob Log is astoundingly good. The phrase "Go hogwild" applies to him like it was his birthright.

I guess she pretty much falls into the novelty act category,
but if I was in San Francisco, I'd definitely seek
out The Space Lady, and I wouldn't mind hearing her CD.

I never liked Peter Schilling's "Major Tom" until I heard her version.

Bob Log III is able to entreat the ladies into dipping their breasts into scotch, before said scotch is consumed by all.

Unfortunately, i left the show before that happened, or else my online photos page would be a lot...spicier.

I've seen BobLog 2 or 3 times many years ago, and was impressed. But The Lonesome Organist does it for me. I remember seeing him opening for another band, and we made a point of standing by the stage so that we could occasionally look at the giants smiles on EVERYONE in the whole venue. His albums are pretty good, as well.
