there are loads of good greek bands from the crooner to happy balloon to byron's girlfriend and vel. it is all likely too sissy for most but i find it lovely. the crooner's lp is one of the most romantic of the year. pop art is a great new label in greece or i imagine they will become one on the strength of their few releases so far including a fantastic compilation called 'try a little sunshine' which tracked greek pop from the mid 80s(post fantastic something) to mid 90s.
