'Little Wonder' was produced by A Guy Called Gerald i think - Bowie also did a 12 minute snooze-fest with Goldie called 'Truth' thats on 'Saturnz Return', AFTER the hour long 'Mother' slugathon

what do people think of 'Outside' then? and is 'hours' his worst album ever?

stevem (blueski), Wednesday, 9 July 2003 12:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Earthling's the best record he's made since Blood on the Tracks!

James Blount (James Blount), Wednesday, 9 July 2003 12:03 (twenty-two years ago)

worst has to be Tonight. dreadful. and i never heard the one that followed that. only icked up again with Oitside which has it moments .. but isn't easy, whereas hours is fine apart from stodgy production methinks, if tony visconti
had been brought back in with that album i reckon it would have been a belter. and yes .. heathen is a fine fine bowie addition. all im my ever changing humble opinion ..

Earthling is great. It made all the goth club kids love Bowie for something besides Labyrinth.

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 9 July 2003 13:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Earthling highly spiff, "Looking for Satellites" one of his best songs ever. Rah.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 9 July 2003 13:33 (twenty-two years ago)

"Dead Man Walking" is absolutely gorgeous.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 9 July 2003 13:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I quite like Earthling. I'd say the worst would probably have to be Never Let Me Down. Tonight at least had "Loving the Alien".

Didn't think too much of ...Hours and Heathen, though.
