turning back from the grave hamlet ending. their's more anecdotal pleasure to be had out of them i think. let's be have it them. it would be nice to think that the trickle of official information would become a ton (eg the privitisation of the KGB files as an international club library from an ailing post gorbachev union to prop up an american aids or "plan" of privitisation & restructuring) which gave researchers a great time, saved them from despair just as sociology and russian depts. in privitised universities found they weren't possibly correct anymore. i think those kgb files librarys' ve closed again except to some russians now, ie reclassified again. yet there are some gravely entertaining true life intrigues in those kgb files yet to be published, and so i have a little more faith in dosty. crime-fiction, and various scholarly, post cold on freedom foreign 'antholpological study' publications. musically : (new zealand got rod stewart makes sexy comeback in womens magazines to try and make sole nz super model look smart, but i want to hear more about the rolling stones)
eg the winning of america (with props like a prophylactic big enough for everyone in the stadium, mrs. canada and a clone from south america)
maybe people might like posting their own rolling stones cuttings -- much more bent than the osbournes - or will there be any more vaguley entertaining rock'n'roll antics - some describe the current crop as rehab/ workaholics - or just slobs/yobs & some just spent
otherwise : what's so good about rock'n'roll ? "successful" anecdotes?

i believe outfits like the rolling stones and tabloids have a mutual co-dependent relationship -- does one have to be a private subsriber to mags lke 'q', mojo and 'uncut' these days to gradually get more bits about the often v. interesting lifestyles of the hopefully artistically 'gifted' ? or in the other case the stories behind the albums that were lucky or pivotal, right place & right time ?
't/t' do you think behind the scenes there's too much excess and so much room for idea association (say if you're recording in the bahamas in a studio/hotel) that 'what happened' will be boring ? (like the volumes of prose vividly showing like reality tv what it's like hang with 'oasis') ?

the 'stones, some of those punks, the rockers that got away, (eg royal trux or sonic youth are accepted de rigeur, the stooges) and seemed to actually make people ok about feeling that they were prepare to admit that that stuff actually rocked, that they had been rocked)
anyway, back to the rolling stones anecdote, it was a song writing technique that payed off handsomely, opened certain floodgates (so suddenly it got cashed in on with carnarby street inventions led zepelin and many other more eccentric/ weirdo affectation bands)
in fact there were a few song writing ideas used that were cashing in on new sonic psycho-acoustic possibilities, industy possibilities (like joint ventures invoving things as big as the re-configuration of booze barns, various new-tech mass media)
i was telling duane about this "trick" the 'stones used & he didn't wanted to believe they used something like that, and so he was concerned that they didn't "rock" quite so much in that they were a bit more London School of Economics (The Economist ?), and maybe with this song writing technique, maybe just a little more cynical oxr exploitative (with a "wouldn't you" defence)
so why is Jarvis Cocker moving to France ?
