Our beloved monarch celebrates 50 glorious years on the throne next year and to celebrate she is having 2 concerts. One classical, one 'pop'. Who should perform at this wonderful and auspicious occasion. Me, I'd go for Billy Bragg, Atomic Kitten and Royal Trux...

It's really too bad the Smiths haven't kept on better terms, as the queen's inevitable death would have been such an ideal moment for a one-song-long reunion show. Preferably on some very public rooftop.

Instead, Elton John will probably change all the words to "God Save the Queen."

Which actually does bring us around to the thread at hand: I'm assuming it's quite likely that Sir Elton would be featured at such a performance?
